12/06/2014 Damage eliminate works in Saakadze street
„Georgian Water and Power“ is carrying out work to eliminate damage in Saakadze street
One side of a fundament of the block of flats under construction collapsed in Saakadze street of Nadzaladevi region late in the eveningyesterday. As it turned out it had not been properly strengthened. The soil shear damaged 250 mm and 100 mm networks of water supply system. For this reason water supply was discontinued to just small area in Nadzaladevi district. Damage liquidation works have been done in Nadzaladevi district since 23:30 yesterday, however the technical works’ speed slows down due to multiple underground communications near the water supply networks. Therefore the company fails to use special equipment and main part of the works is being done by the brigades manually. Because of this problem “Georgian Water & Power” plans to finish technical works today at 22:00.
In order to eliminate the damage in Saakadze street at 22:00 today on June 12 water supply will be discontinued to:

Part of Saakadze and Chichinadze streets and 2nd micro district of Dadiani.
“Georgian Water & Power” will try to perform the technical works in the shortest possible period of time. The listed streets’ water supply will be resumed gradually since 22:00 on June 12, immediately after the technical works termination.
